H80 austerity measures (2017)
Programme note:
ʻausterity measuresʼ for violin and piano is made from a limited amount of material spread over four interrelated sections. It was written in the summer of 2017 in the south of Spain and premièred on 13 October 2023 by the dedicatees, Geneva Lewis, violin and Julia Hamos, piano at the Elgar Hall, University of Birmingham.
